I feel flattered as well as jaded.......

Interesting night as I will see it as...... A colourful world out there........ All kinds of people mingle into a cauldron..... Now I know why older guys seem to have commitment phobia of sort..... Because its just a temptation island out there for them.......

But somehow I think Im just not cut out to be the rest...... Im a slut..... But not that slutty.......

In any case, its a wonderful evening spent..... Alvin, Stella, Raymond and Shannon....... Nice company, nice music....... But not that nice a dinner..... LOL...... Im feeling hungry now......

Will probably feel shitty tomorrow..... But oh well, we live day by day......

Great weekend spent.......
Friday evening was with the Shell peepz...... A huge bunch of us having dinner at Brewerkz...... Fun dinner crowd talking nonsense....... Bitching and gossiping thereafter with Crystal and Chloe at Central before I head back to school for Ambassadors Retreat...... Pretty cool to see many seniors still going back for a gathering even though they graduated long ago......... Old hands like Julian, Wen Yun, Kexin, Zing, etc.......

Headed back to Butter Factory to meet up with two different groups....... Clement, Josh, Darrelle and friends as well as Chloe and Corina....... Its always darn fun to hang out with Clement, Josh and Darrelle....... Friday was well-spent....... Fully maximised.......

Saturday evening was with GSR8 peepz....... Poker through the night....... Was a darn long ride to Alvin's...... Coupled with the bad driving...... Its just horrible.......

As usual....... Sunday sports day........ And just lazing at home playing games........ Gearing up for the week ahead.......

LN used this term when he was driving me back....... "No-Fly Zone"........ LOL....... Interesting term man.......

Chloe told me an observation that she made....... LOL...... I dont quite believe it....... But she say it with such conviction that maybe she might be right....... Not a bad thing if she is correct though...... Oh well..... Let fate decide then....... Will be on second gear for this.......

Someone mentioned if I go after 'X', it will be tantamount to "incest", "taboo"...... I don't think I will agree with that statement though...... Ever since Im back in the market again, friends and colleagues started throwing out names after names to pair me up with....... Suddenly everyone who isn't a male comes up high on the hitlist......

The funniest person category belongs to Chye Ling....... LOL...... I will never forget what she did during Cheryl's chalet........

Bumped into Ning Xia this evening..... Haven seen her for a while and it took me a good 2-3 seconds before I can recognize her when she called my name....... LOL...... It took me a while to register because she look much prettier now compared to the days when I worked with her in MPW........

And I bumped into Shu Wen when Im in Velvet last Friday....... Seems like a MPW reunion on separate occasions....... Probably I will bump into Zhong Yi, Elise and Laurene next hur hur.......

Started playing Diablo 2 again....... 8 years back, Im playing that, 8 years later Im still having helluva fun playing it....... Just goes to show how good that game is.......

A relatively slow week....... Thank God its already Thursday....... :)

Head is hurting like shit....... Freaking hangover....... What was suggested to be a drink or two tranpires into something more hardcore........ We were at Velvet Underground yesterday night....... And it is Keith's birthday today hence the drinks galore.......

I think I cannot hold my liquor as well as before....... A couple of beer, a shot and Long Island Tea completely waste me....... I must add that it is the freakin Long Island Tea that close the deal......

Keith, Leonard, Jeremy, Edmund, Zhi Ling, Jiahui and Huiying....... First casualty was Jeremy....... He just puked like a freakin merlion........ Some caught his "projectile" including myself....... Goshh...... And I am still telling everyone to be aware of Keith since he was compelled to drink like a whale....... Everyone was at least in the "happy high" state........

After Jeremy got smashed...... He slept near the river and I stay watch over him while the rest went in again to "take the bags"........ More like a pretext because I have to wait for the longest time out there while they are dancing off their stupor....... The long island tea got the better of me and I puked like no tomorrow.......

Woke up with my head splitting...... And I puke off what I didn't yesterday....... I cannot recall when is the last time I actually drank myself to this state....... Probably back in the freshmen or sophomore years when life is a little more crazy........

Happy Birthday Keith, and Jeremy, you owe me one..... LOL......

Had a great evening yesterday with Ker Choon....... A catching up session in Manhantan Fish Market and we watched "Bad Habits" at the Picture House after dinner....... Pretty cool show where everything revolves around food....... Giving juxtapose of fat and thin using various metaphor like a pair of goldfish....... Interesting show and not at all boring....... Saw a poster on another show; "The Go Master"...... Reminds me of a show by Tony Leung Kai Fai in which he was a Chiness Chess Master in that show....... Its an awesome show and I think I will try to watch it again........

My KL business trip was postponed to next year due to certain reasons...... Bahh..... Kinda disappointed....... But on a brighter side, I get to go with Chloe and Lionel next year.......

Im being rope in to help with the F1 event...... Going to take care of some big wigs customers...... Probably Ship owners or senior executives from shipping firms....... It will be an interesting session....... Going to be in the golf course and some high tea session...... Lets see how it goes......

Gobbling up books like no tomorrow....... Ive completed about 5 books since I last updated on the books I read......

I missed the Borders book sale in Expo...... Urgghhhh...... Should have went...... Wasted opportunity........

Quite a lazy week....... Spent majority of the time at home resting and slacking.......
Friday evening was with Eve, May and Jason...... Eve may be away for quite a while so there was a dinner set up for her....... Going to meet again coming weekend before she fly away to London....... Hang out with the Gsr 8 peepz after dinner....... Another farewell...... This time round its Joseph thats going off on his exchange program....... Had quite alot of fun chatting.......

Laze around the whole of Saturday....... Poker in the night with the soccer peepz....... Highlight of the session; Junqi's four of a kind (Kings)....... Its crazy man...... What kind of luck do you need to get such a hand...... Woottt........

The whole family went out for a movie session and dinner....... We watched "Money No Enough 2"........ Pretty good but I still like the first one better........

The whole Monday was spent at home watching Olympics and playing DOTA....... A boring day....... Kinda wasted but I just dont feel like hanging out........ Besides, there is no one to hang out with today...... Oh well........

Time is a sneaky fellow........ Its always abundant when you don't seem to need it, and when you do, it never avails itself....... Looks like the Monday blues is still there even when you are not working........ Booooo........

Time really flies...... I have been working close to three months now...... Fast hur....... Going to do my quarterly review pretty soon.......

On Sept 2nd, I will be heading back to SMU for a career talk...... About a year ago, I went for the same talk and was there for information, a year later, Im back there to give information to students interested in Shell....... I hope that in a few years time, I will be doing the presentation to the students.......

Some milestones for the next 2 months at work;

Aug 15th - Nexus Event and meeting Shell Chairman
Sep 2nd - SMU Talk
Sep - Paintball
Oct 2nd week - First Biz Trip


Cool beans!!!

Really looking forward to my first business trip..... Its going to be a whole week in KL..... Though its near but its still a business trip...... Nice hotels, nice meals but backlog of work....... Its probably going to be the only one for me this year...... Hopefully, London, Australia, China for 2009......

Played soccer on Tuesday....... Kinda make it up for the lack of soccer on Sunday...... Sweat it out..... Was good......

Gonna get a break on National day...... A welcome break....... Need that just to rest my feet and wet my lips.......

Woootttt........ Had a really great week.......
Thursday to Thumper with Clement, Josh and Darrelle........ Was quite mad, even though I had work but we partied till 4am before closing the night with Pig Organ Soup on Beatty Lane...... Awesome man........

Friday was with the Shell folks....... Some "crazy hour" beer before we head over for seafood dinner....... Had a really long dinner chatting about nothing....... End off the day with a mahjong session with LN, Ed and Favian.......

Saturday was with the soccer guys + Shaoru, Jiahui, Hui Ying and Amanda (Shaoru's cousin)....... Headed over to JB....... Go-karting was awesome....... LOL...... I think Im a really safe driver man........ Thats one thing I learnt about myself........ We played two rounds before heading over to Taman Market for an awesome meal....... Came back to Singapore and KTVed till 2.30am...... I know a friend who sounds like Jackie Chung, now I found another that sounds like Andy Lau...... Gosh...... Never judge a book by its cover.......

Today was great as well....... Met Sue Ann for prawn noodle....... We even went for service together....... LOL...... Kinda cool man........ God's plan....... Initially, I wanted to meet her for Dark Knight since I missed it earlier with Chloe....... Yet, it ended up having Prawn mee, Ice cream and service....... Still remember when I met her in Cathay and we somehow talk about God as well...... And today we attended a service together....... Awesome la Sue....... I prayed about the UE Square thingy for you....... Update me yeah......

A great week....... I am contended....... Gonna fight hard during weekdays and make it up with it during weekends...... Life's good...... The only thing I missed this week was the dinner at Joe's...... Crap, I wanted to go but I woke up really late....... Will prolly ask him out for dinner before he fly off to Denmark........
