An awesome weekend.......

Friday

On Friday, it was mission LN...... LN aka Tan Lueneng, a good buddy whom I have known since SMU year 1 proposed to my now "sister-in-law", Jac, during a gig which he performed in....... In front of 400 - 500 students, he goes down on his knees and ask the question that is probably the most important in his life.......

We knew that he was going to do it and we went to render our support, and bought some confetti cannons to go along with...... It was a top secret mission and we were sworn to secrecy, in case of news reaching Jac for whatever reasons.......

Out of a population of about 6.7 billion, it is incredibly hard for two person to meet each other, again from the slim odds, the two became an item....... So its pure joy to see two really great friends sealing that incredibly crazy odds to be bond together in a lifetime commitment....... Its pure joy....... And Im incredibly happy and proud for my bro and Jac....... Well done, my friends......

Saturday

Saturday was great fun Guitar Hero-ing(World Tour) at Stella's....... We had a drum set and a guitar, just too bad we cannot play the vocal for lack of another Wii controller...... Its my first time playing Guitar Hero and its darn awesome........ So awesome to the point, that I am actually considering buying a console just to play that game........

Well, I guess the fun boils down to the fact that I have always toy-ed with the idea of learning an instrument and playing it to my favourite tunes....... Coupled with the lack of musical talent, Guitar Hero is the closest which I can get to that experience......

Lets see, prolly I will try to finally set my heart down and learn a real guitar or something...... Prolly going to enrol myself in Yamaha or something..... Or buying a new console and get that incredibly fun Guitar Hero....... Awesome......

Sunday

Soccer as usual and skipping church as usual...... Not a good thing, I mean skipping church that is...... The last time was with Sue at her church somewhere in Tanah Merah....... Will try to get myself on the Saturday services or Sunday evening services in Wesley or Sue's......

My love for the 3 out of 4 chinese classics begins when I am a little under 5.....

The love for "Three Kingdoms" started through watching my brother playing the game by Koei; "Romance of the Three Kingdom 2" on our uncle's ancient 286 computer...... The same for goes for "Water Margin".......

Growing up, I watched many variation of "Journey to the West", "Water Margin" and "Three Kingdoms"...... It was awesome....... I love the 99 adventures, the code of honour of the 108 in Liang Shan, and the deception and strategy from "Three Kingdom"...... Through this classics especially "Three Kingdoms", I come to know of many famous quotes and scenes...... I like so many of them...... Love them to bits.......

Sigh..... 11pm telecon...... But yeah, while waiting I shall dedicate this entry to Ms Cheryl Ng as promised........

Dearest "star-crossed lover", friend, buddy,

On work level, thank you so much for the guidance that you have given me for the past few months. Without those advice of yours, Im sure as hell cannot handle Mr AA as well as I am doing now...... My onboarding was made smooth because you are such a wonderful buddy and I am grateful for the help you have rendered......

On a personal level, you have provided laughter and joy through your positive demeanour...... Everyone always seem to enjoy your company...... So you can almost imagine how life it must be right now, without the bulb to light up the room...... I guess Rotterdam doesnt seem so gloomy afterall with you over there hur......

Hahaha..... You better hope that I get my GO next year..... Then we won't be that star-crossed afterall...... LOL..... For you, I will apply to EU even though I pretty much prefer to be in Asia...... Then the London, Rotterdam dream may just come true...... Hahaha..... If not, I guess we will be darn blardy star-crossed, when you are back after 2 years, I will be gone for 2 years...... LOL......

Though we are all 7 hours and about 17,000 km apart, Im sure we will all keep in touch as if there is no geographical barrier...... So take care and all the best over there....... Don't snack too much and pout too much...... Till then..... Ciaozz.....
