Arrgghhh....... A long weekend burned as i had to conduct a first aid lesson to the newly enlisted soldiers. The entire company got to book out yesterday night while some of the misfortunate few had to settle for a nights off and only get to book out after the short one hour lesson which ended at 11am this morning. Finished range this week and i was totally exhausted on the first few days as we had to wake up real early to get prepared for the main highlight of the seven weeks course. This latter part of the week was really slack as there was nothing for us to do and i got to read up abit more on my novel. I have been reading it for quite some time and i guess i could finished reading it by next week.

Nothing interesting to pen down.

Later then.

Another 40 bucks handed to my Sis. Thats my fourth monthly payment for my MD. This month i am doing alot of calculation as i am skimping and scrapping every cents i could without compromising my leisure for a PlayStation 2. I have been wanting it for ages but just could not afford it.

Nothing worth mentioning in work for this week. It seems so monotonous in my daily work routine now.

China Black, a club where i had not patronized since i have been conscripted into the army. It certainly changed alot not in terms of ambience or price but rather the crowd. The crowd are more matured rather than its rowdy customers the last time i went. Though there is the change in place but i still felt bored. Not really knowing the reason why but i just felt that way. Maybe i should have just go to Weiling's birthday party yesterday night.

Two more weekends till my next payout and that PlayStation 2 could keep me occupied, playing all my games that i had missed out. Till then, Saturday late nights clubbing session will still dominates my weekends.

Bah, Didnt get to catch the show yesterday. Going to push that to the next week agenda. Double O wasnt really fun last night but at least i get to catch up with some of my old pals which i lost contacts for months.

As i was flipping the Straits Times earlier, i came upon an interesting article about a man living in Singapore with an unusual sexual orientation, to put it bluntly, being a gay. I admired his courage to own up being a gay as i felt that Singaporeans are still rather conservative about homosexuality. There was a poll conducted to find out whether Singaporeans could accept their own son being a gay. The statistic showed that about more than 50% could not accept it. Being a gay in Singapore must be rather tough as i feel that most people will stay away from them or cast an unpleasant look or worst hurling abuse at them like faggot, "ah gua" and stuff like that. However, to my surprise, the man in the article only have one unpleasant encounter while working out in the gym with his partner. His mother could not accept the fact that he is a gay at first, however as times gradually goes by she could now understand his child and even go on a holiday trip with his son and his boyfriend. I am rather cool with the issue of homosexuality and i felt that most Gen Y Singaporean feel the same way as i do.

A taiwanese entertainment program discusses about prophecy and all of a sudden i have the urge to go to the library to get some books on prophets and prophecy. But i guess i will control my urge temporalily till i complete reading my current book, "Seven Years In Tibet".

I guess i will signed off for now. Till next week then.

Got home at about 11pm last night but didnt get a chance to use the computer as Sis was cooping herself up in the room watching "Meteor Garden II". This working week churned out some unpleasant event among the platoon as some of the trainees was displeased as how they were treated by one of my collegue, Eri. I just felt that Eri wasnt tactful enough when dealing with this bunch of trainees. The trainees brought up their complaints to the OC and hopefully all the issues will be resolved.

All the specialists and the ORD personel are invited to a function at the mess last night. The night was high on booze and everyone was enjoying themselves. The organisers have employed two vivacious and skimpily dressed ladies to spice up the night with high tempo and seductives dancing. Some of us was dragged to the dance floor by the ladies and of course dancing is an obligation to the "victims". RSM cast away with his usual stern stance and joined in the fun with all of us. A beautiful waitress was constantly teased and ogled by all of us as she was walking around the room serving ice cold beer. Together with some collegues, i left the event at around 9.30pm and headed home straight. What was thought to be a boring night actually turns out to be quite entertaining.

Going to catch a show in town later and also another bout of drinking and clubbing in the late evening seems to be lining up for me in the later part of the day.

A week has passed once again. I am doing fine with my instructor role and progressing well. I seems to have built a bond with the platoon and my section. They now dare to confide in me and trust in me as they know hows my working style and my character. Thats so much about work during the week.

Calvin flew off to down under to pursue further studies and perphaps greener pasture. Look likes i am going to miss this chap for a year or so. He really a good pal to me and so i wished him the best of luck. Most of our class from year 1 went to send him off. Even Wen Pei who seems to vanish into thin air after graduation turns up once again to bid Calvin goodbye. Had a dinner together with everyone and recaptures the memories of good old days and also to catch up with each of our own progress with life.

After which i went to catch a movie with CK, YY and Wahono at Plaza Singapura. "Basic" was the title of the movie that we watched. It was a very good movie with lots of twist in his plot and causes you to concentrate throughout the entire two hours span of the movie. Took a cab with CK back after the movie and went for a supper alone at a eatery within walking distance from my house. Had two "Roti Prata Telor" with a can of my favourite drink then it was my own personal time with my cozy springy little bed till this very afternoon.
