Wheeeee....... Been reading non stop these few days........

Completed "The Five People You Meet In Heaven"....... Very good and very thought provoking....... Kinda get you thinking about your own life........ I will prolly had a hard time figuring out the five person I would meet in context to the book........ Eddie afterlife allowed him to make sense of what his life was......... I especially liked the last part when the gal he burned actually pulled him up to heaven....... Those precious little hands...........

9/10..........

About to finish "King Of Torts".......... Not much of any action in this book........ But still, it got me hooked straight into the wee hours......... Somehow I know that Clay would be absorbed by GREED........ Money never enough hur hur......... 100 millions and he sought for more..........

As I read on, I almost felt like Clay in the book........ The figures got me dizzy........ Several millions earned here and a couple there........ Gosh....... What would I do if I got so much money....... Bury it in an offshore bank and spend my life in the Bahamas hur hur........ I always thought of visiting those exotic places in Bahamas, Jamaica etc etc...... Maybe I would do just that if I strike jackpot........ American dream for Clay hur hur...... Not the lottery but through the Mass Tort Litigation....... He is in deep shit now...... Overspending and such......... Gonna complete it and see how it ends.........

Searching for new authors and titles yet again....... But would probably seek to complete the Grisham's series before venturing into unchartered waters......... "A Time To Kill" and "Street Lawyer"........ 2 that I haven read it yet....... Will probably get it tomorrow.........

Gotta get some running....... Been lazing around for months without moving my bones....... Gotta get my legs running........ :P

Cheerios folks........ :)

Cranky mood today....... Completed duty this morning and had less than 2-3 hours of sleep...... Just had belated Father's Day celebration for Dad....... Its great that nowadays Bro kept organizing these outings....... Its really nice of him....... But I wonder whether Sis helped to foot the bill too.......

Completed 3 books........ "Sphere" by Michael Crichton, "To Kill A Mocking Bird" by Lee Harper and the third; "London Bridges" by James Patterson....... All three in 2 weeks....... Kinda fast for a slow reader like me hence you can prolly deduce that the books are page turner........

Kinda lazy to write a review for all three........ Go get them all is what I have to say...... Especially the all-time classic by Lee Harper.......

Bought another two more.......

"Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom....... Old title....... I managed to get my hands on it some years ago but couldnt fork out the time to read it and returned without reading....... Hence I bought it this time round....... Its really good and Im raring to go.......

"The King Of Torts" by John Grisham is the second title........ Back to my first love hur hur........ Read almost all the collections from John Grisham but this is one that I have miss....... Looking forward to the witty plot and writing from Grisham yeah........

Thats about all for my readings........ Saz approached me to be a book reviewer for Blurt some time ago....... Haven really thought about it....... But taking on the role would have me deviating from my main stream genre of reading........ Thats the biggest drawback.......

Still feeling cranky...... Just hate doing weekend duties....... It suck the life outta ya........ Render ya the sucky feeling....... Its the last of its kind for me hur hur......... To hell with regimental duties........

Cheerios peepz........

"To Kill A Mocking Bird" rocks big time........ Im about halfway through...... Its really really nice......... :)

Soccer fever yeah......... Looks like it doesnt get on to me.......... Watched the opening match of Germany vs Costa Rica over at Edmund's with LN and May.......... Though the torrents of goals kept sweeping but I still fell asleep......... Too shag due to lack of sleep the past few days....... Anyway, it was good company........ :)

Finished "Velocity" by Dean Koontz........ It wasnt really a masterpiece........ Predictable plot in the sense that I could get the killer straight from the beginning......... Though the way that the murderer does his job is a little hard to guess........ That I would have to give credits....... All in all, its just mediocre..........

7.5/10.........

A few quotes that I kinda like;

"There is one who remembers the way to your door: Life you may evade, but Death you shall not"

- Chapter 33, "Velocity" -

"The world turns and the world changes, but one thing does not change. However you disguise it, this thing does not change: the perpetual struggle of Good and Evil"

- Chapter 72, "Velocity" -

Finished "Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell as well.......... Its slightly better than "Blink"......... Just ever so slightly......... Its darn good......... Very informative and very readable........ It does to a certain extent alter the way I look at the world now......... The theory of "Six degree of separation" is so fascinating....... Its really a very good read.......

9/10..............

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_degrees_of_separation

Currently, Im on "To Kill A Mocking Bird" by Harper Lee........ Hey hey hey, wait a minute....... I know most of you must be exclaiming; You must have read that in Literature class........ Well, but I havent......... A little slow here....... Classic and Pulitzer winning stuff....... Gonna savour it........

Bought "London Bridges" by James Patterson and also going to buy a old title; "Sphere" from Michael Crichton........

Going to school soon for the "International Peaceday Meeting"........ See where it will leads me hur hur.........

Cheerios..........

Back from Church Camp....... It rocks....... Praise the Lord....... I had a really wonderful time there.......

We stayed in Marriot Putrajaya....... Its in KL and its freakin huge....... In fact "huge" doesnt seems approriate to justify for its size....... The room are all in suites....... Thats probably explain why the cost of the church camp is rather high...... $470 for me........ But then again, all meals are covered and are all buffet style........

The teaching and the discussion session are wonderful....... Elaine and myself are probably the youngest among all the members in the discussion groups....... Children and Youth Ministry took care of all under our age......... So we are the only few whom cant fit into the Youth and Children Ministry and yet remain a little too young for adults........ Yet I do not feel out of place....... I thought i learnt alot alot more through them.......

Was placed in the discussion group; "Thomas"........ Led by Uncle Peter and Aunty Doris........
Evangeline, Agnes, David, Desiree, Douglas, James and Elaine are in my group....... Its really great to share spiritually with them...... Its wonderful.......

All in all, I had a really great time in the church camp and really thank God for what he has done for all of us........

I got to know alot alot alot of other peepz there as well........ It was a great time to fellowship with one another and learn from them........ :)

Two missionaries back from Japan..... Stanley and Lucy...... Nat's JC teacher...... Menon...... Uncle John....... Aunty Elaine(Not the young Elaine)....... Edwin...... Jane and Bonnie....... Chai Seng...... Jaosn...... and many many more not from the same discussion group........

Through Stanley and Lucy, I could be going to Japan to help out with shoveling snow and all.......
Through Jason, we could get an internship to AMD........
Through Uncle John, I got to know alot of stuff about property...........

Its great to know so many new peepz......

At the end of the church camp, I feedback to the committee about having a concession for tertiary students and suggested to them about the current pricing.......

Aunty Irene immediately stuffed $100 into my hands during the lunch session and jokingly exclaimed that it is mother giving money to the son....... Aunty Irene played as my mother during the fun night...... I was cast into the role of Jacob.......

Uncle Rodney officially told the next year committee that he wanted me in the church camp for the following year and paid for all the cost........

Goshhh....... Both Aunty Irene and Uncle Rodney met me for the first time at the camp...... I only had a short 5 minutes chat with Uncle Rodney before the feedback session...... It came as an agreement later that I would help with the planning committee next year.......

Its amazing....... And they all did that for the love of God....... :)

I had too much to say about the Church Camp....... Its just too wonderful........ Thank God, I will definitely go for the camp every year........

One person to thank personally would be Elaine....... Thought that we look out for each other really well...... The camp wouldnt be what it is without Elaine.......

Nat wasnt with us due to the dates clash for her USA Summer Camp....... Really wish that she could be there...... :(

And I miss her terribly though I dont show it as much....... Come back QUICKKKKK!!!!!!
