Woohoo...... Had a nice hot refreshing shower. Finally completing the five days field camp. One major hurdle cleared and one more to go before the fateful P.O.P for this batch of trainees.

Got the SAT written report yesterday after a longer wait than the previous SAT. Would applied to SMU real soon and at the same time awaiting for the opening of the admission exercises of NTU and NUS. I hate the feeling of waiting but in this case i guessed i would have to wait another few more months before everything fall into place.

Ash flying to the "Land Of Smile" tomorrow on a morning flight and all thanks to Leon that i got the chance to meet her on the eve of the flight. Would miss her presence terribly during these few days and hope she would enjoy her holiday trip liked i had a few years back.

Gotta go meet "Zhou Gong" for a chess session.............ZZzzzzZZZzzzzz

Yesterday was a eventful day for me. Went to the Expo to pick up Ash after her SAT. On both occasions i took my SAT, the test always ended around 1230 or 1300. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the SAT conducted at the Expo ended around 1415. Usually a short 5 minutes wait would seems like eternity to me but somehow the 90 minutes of standing outside the venue do not even annoyed me that much. Perphaps my impatience is being curbed somehow. ????..........

Sent Ash to her best friend's for a 8 course lunch cum dinner and i made my way back on the same cab. Heavy downpour made the day quite sucky. I dont liked rainy days. Took a cab down again to a 'God Knows Where' LRT station to pick up Ash. Strolled around town and had a 'wussy' drink (strawberry milk) at Ash's turf before the clubbing session.

All thanks to Kenny, the whole group of us managed to bypass the long queue that gathered outside the entrance. The place hasnt changed one bit since the day i last came. Ash seems to enjoy the music to the max as it was her night, RnB night. I rationed my drinks as i could not afford to get drunk as i had a responsibility now :>. Loved that responsibiliy...... The whole dance floor was packed to the fullest. Helped to fend off some rowdy crowds that were jostling their way around. On one occasion, i am moved by the action of Ash. I almost fell due to the pushing of oncoming crowds and at the very moment, Ash barged onto me to support me. :)

Towards the end of the night or morning to be precise. Ash was coughing quite badly and need a glass of water. I paid a ridiculous $5 for a glass of plain water but somehow i felt that the $5 was well spent. I just felt kinda infuriated when the waiter gave me a queer glance when i asked for a glass of water but not the $$$$.

Bid farewell to the Dunman guys, Tekong and co. and also to Ash's sisters before i sent her back home.

Gonna be late for the appointment. Gotta run...........
Next week then...........

Phew......... Finally a breather after some intense 'Bai Nian' session. The whole of Singapore seems to be combed as all the relatives resides in all part of the small sunny island. Got real bored of the visiting halfway through as today are targetted at the more distant ones. My sis and i seems to be stoning throughout the whole day as we do not really know the relatives well to strike up a conversation. We only kept ourselves busy prying all the plastic containers to savage any delicacy that we could pillage.

Qiang and Kiat invited me to an card session held annually at Marcu's bungalow. Would take a nap to recharge my depleted energy and wait for Qiang to call up. I would not be meeting Ash today as she visiting some corpses exhibited in the Expo with the soon enlisted Shi Ping. Hope shes enlightened by the embalmed exhibit personel.

My passion for the CNY seems to be diminishing with the increment of my age. The style of the CNY changed drastically ever since Po Po and Ah Gong left us. Used to get loads of Ang Bao without much travelling with Ah Gong and Po Po's apartment as the HQ. Used to like the idea of dressing up for the big occasion to impress everyone but i guessed im passed that ever since im over my teens. All the Ba Gua, pineapple tart, love letter no longer made me drools like cascading waterfalls. The absence of Bro also played a factor.

Hopefully the feeling equivalent as to what i felt as a school boy for this occasion would once again resurface as the years come by.

Once again Happy CNY.............

"Lao Yu Sheng" early in the morning back in camp. I sincerely believed that once again "OUR" (Applies Only to Kenny, Woon Tat and me though) table had the most food wastage however granted also the greatest prosperity as the Yu Sheng rocketed sky high. After the Lao Yu Sheng and the low budget lion dance troupe performance, everybody dispersed from the island at the earliest possible moment.

Met Ashley at Jurong East MRT made possible from the goodwill of OC who drove me from the east to the west. After some hassle experienced in the cab, we reached Ta Pei Yuan and gave my prayers to Po Po and Ah Gong. Had lunch and traveled to various landmarks through the train. Played a game invented by us at the Jurong lake and i shall named it "Five Steps". Had fun playing and eventually i sent Ashley back to Boon Lay and both of us parted to had our individual reunion dinner.

Experienced a trauma in the late evening. But at least everything fine now. The first tiff i encountered and i would learn my lesson from it to fostered a stronger bond and relationship.

Gong Xi Fa Cai and a Happy Chinese New Year to all..................

Been a long time since i felt so relaxing in the arms of the embracing nature. The horizon of the clear blue sky and the incoming sea breeze caressing my entire body made me enjoyed every moment at the beach. The splashing sea waves created melodies pleasing to the senses. To share the precious moments with the loves one added another special touch in my soul.

Had a great seafood dinner and supper before we headed back home. Slept till early morning and the regular Hiao-ing only allowed us leaving the house at noon. Satisfied my craving of Soya Sauce Chicken at Crystal Jade for lunch before i sent Ash back to the West. Slept on the train on both occasions going and returning from Ash's house.

Would be booking in tomorrow evening and looking forward to the upcoming CNY next week.

Bro had flew to Japan yesterday for his one year working stint. Glad that Bro IT savvy lifestyle and job could still make it possible for the family to see him on the virtual world often. Bon Voyage Bro.

Work still as monotonous as ever. Lotsa outfield training for the dudes this week as the field camp is drawing near. Brian and Nick would leave the Coy very soon. Would miss these two interesting characters. Hope our fate doesnt end just in NS and would crossed path somewhere in the future.

Would take a nap before meeting "The One" in the early evening. Wahaha......

Fighting the Z monster for now and i figured the relentless struggle against it would be futile.
If you cannot beat them, join them.............

Done with the reunion lunch at the Yunnan Yuan Chinese Restaurant. The diners includes the entire family and also Uncle David, Uncle Desmond and two of his best pals. Had a great and filling lunch. Everyone got a present from Uncle Desmond, its a well crafted and blessed gold coin with beautifully designed packaging in a Ang Bao. Thanked Uncle Desmond for the meal and gift before the family went shopping for CNY groceries and display ornaments.

I went on separate ways from Dad, Mom and Sis as i figured that our shopping styles differ greatly like opposite polarity. Browsed around the mall till i could drew out the floor plan and finally decided on a polo tee and a tee. The polo tee could make a CNY debut appearance but the tee shirt was just a bit too casual for a CNY appearance. Would use the tee more liked a booked in attire.

Would chat with Ashley on the phone before booking in this evening.
Logged and till next week then.........

Went shopping with Qiang and Kiat for the CNY stuffs. Shopped for a couple of hours hopping from stores to stores displaying their fanciful wares. None of the stuff caught my attention until we reached a shoe store. Got this pair of shoes that matches my pants and i just bought it without much consideration.

Expanded our shopping area by venturing into Orchard but to no avail either. Called it a day and sent Ashley home. Chatted on my mobile throughout the return journey from the west and found out that the reunion dinner tomorrow would be changed into a reunion lunch when i reached home.

Would logged now to chat on the ICQ.........
So sorry BLOG............

Made a glorious exit from the bachelors club. Up till now i had been very happy to be with Ashley. But its seems that she still had some doubts in our relationships concerning her occasional flares up and AP. I will take heed from the warning and will react maturely to counter her AP. Its just the starting and hopefully this relationship will blossom and not wither away when times brushes past.

Watched 'Love Me If You Dare' and found that the plot was neatly filmed. Just that a little too abstract in its own rights. Ate Swensons where the clique of T14C always frequent to snatch the freebies offered by Justina when she was still working there. Ha ha cheapo i guessed....... Those were the days.

Sent Ashley home and took a long stroll along the expressway. Startled on two occasions when passerbys just sneaked in behind us silently. We talked alot during the way and Ashley was really shagged out as the way was abit too far for her. Bid her goodbye and dragged my weary soul back to my humble abode.

Collegeboard screwed up the SAT report. It was supposed to be mailed by Jan 2 as stated on the website but up till now no traces of it could be found. Emailed them and enquired about it already. Will wait patiently for the answer.

Chatted on the phone till the wee hours everynight but i am actually enjoying it. Felt like i have known Ashley for a long time. Will let my heart guides me and would follow blindly upon my instinct.

Love is in the air...........

Made a late decision whether to break the vault and a hell of a time celebrating the New Year Countdown or just be a goody two shoes and stayed home to warm my couch in front of the PS2. In the end, i still broke the vault and go for the gold. The decision was not a bad one. Clubbed with the regular lineup of T14C snookers kakis at the O bar. It was the first time i had been there and just found that the place a little crampy. Not much bigger than a hobbits home. The drinks cost the same as its neighbour but tasted diluted.

Everyone grooved with the beat and among all the shakers, CK and Calvin got the best moves. CK social dance classes made his move fluid and sophisticated. Calvin slithers like a snake among all the other party goers. Played pool for a few games and one by one, we got ousted out by an average player. If we were just a bit more sober, the opponent would not even had to cue the '8' ball.

Calvin mustered the courage from the diluted drinks and danced with quite a number of gals. On one occasion, Calvin roped me in and i just went over to introduce myself to the ladies. Grabbed anyone that my hands could take and pulled everyone down to the sparse dance floor. Chatted with one of them and got to know this gal by the name of Ashley. Exchanged contacts and once Wahono came back, everyone dragged their weary feets out from the place at around 4am in the first morning of 2004.

Honour for Loyalty, Valor for Strength. I shall bestowed the title which Calvin deserved. You are the MAN, Calvin. Wahahaha. All thanks to Calvin for landing me a new number in my phone book and a new friend. Had great fun and Happy New Year to all the good peeps out there.

So once again before i published the first blog of 2004.
You Are The Man, Calvin. You really are.
