"Haiku was a Japanese form of poetry, brief, disciplined. A haiku, Mrs. Douglas said, could be just seventeen syllables long-- no more, no less. It usually concentrated on one clear emotion: sadness, joy, nostalgia happiness ... love."

- IT, Page 182, Stephen King -
